      24-bit 96kHz analogue-to-digital & digital-to-analogue converter

A cost-effective converter for almost all stereo A/D and D/A duties

The CEDAR ADA A/D and D/A Converter is a stereo, 24-bit, 96kHz 1U rackmount unit that produces an AES/EBU or SPDIF output from a balanced or unbalanced analogue stereo input, and a stereo balanced or unbalanced output from an incoming AES/EBU or SPDIF input.

Designed to complement CEDAR's award-winning DNS-series and Duo-series hardware modules as well as CEDAR Cambridge, the ADA offers four sync modes, professional and consumer formats, emphasis on/off, user-selectable input levels of up to 27dBu, and a maximum output level of +24dBu.

With both professional (XLR) and consumer (phono) analogue inputs and outputs, the ADA is usable in almost all analogue and digital environments.

Offering a dynamic range of greater than 110dB, and a signal to noise ratio of better than 109dBfs, the CEDAR ADA is suitable for all but the very most demanding converter tasks. And, at its attractive price, it offers an excellent price/performance ratio.

    24-bit 96kHz digital 6-way headphone amplifier

A cost-effective digital headphone amplifier for all your headphone monitoring duties

The CEDAR HDA headphone amplifier is a 24-bit, 96kHz rackmount unit that receives an AES/EBU or SPDIF input and converts it to six individually buffered 1/4" (6.3mm) stereo headphone outputs, each with its own volume control.

Designed to complement CEDAR's award-winning DNS series and an integral element in the CEDAR CSS-1500 and CSS-3000 Surveillance Systems, it is also perfect for use with CEDAR Cambridge and our Duo rackmounts, connecting directly to their AES/EBU (XLR) or SPDIF (phono) outputs to provide the highest quality audio directly to the headphones. It handles all standard sampling frequencies up to and including 96kHz, will decode 50/15µs emphasis, and has a dynamic range in excess of 100dB. It delivers up to 150mW per headphone output with a maximum output level of +12dBu.

The HDA is usable in almost all digital environments and, at its attractive price, offers an excellent price/performance ratio.
